Over the years, I have acquired a unique mix of skills: empathetic design, strategic thinking, and leadership and team collaboration. I've also had the opportunity to work at design agencies, which has given me the experience of solving a variety of user problems.

I seek to have a clear understanding of user goals and how they align with business goals and technical constraints.

I am passionate about helping others grow. I always try to find ways to learn from the perspective of others. My wife and I have committed to giving 11% of our annual earnings to a local charity. Last year, we celebrated the 12th anniversary of our giving commitment.

FUN FACTS BOUT ME

• I love making short documentary films focusing on human stories.
• I played competitive table tennis while I was a student in Boston.
• I won two local golf tournaments in Southern California. The sweetest win was at Industry Hills Golf Club.
• I have met and interacted with numerous world leaders, including 16 presidents from 14 different countries.
• In 2012, I met President George W. Bush while playing golf at Cape Arundel Golf Club in Maine. When he finished putting at one of the holes, he came over to my tee box to say hello. We chatted for about a minute; I was pleasantly surprised.
